Kay Guelfi, MS, CCC-SLP
Clinic Director

Kay earned her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from St. Cloud State University.  She has been working as a speech and language pathologist for 14 years.  She has worked in both a hospital pediatric rehabilitation unit and for the educational system.  In that time, she has worked to develop an auditory-oral integrated classroom for children with hearing impairments, develop an inpatient pediatric traumatic brain injury program and has been part of a cleft palate team.  Kay’s areas of interest include working with children who have recently received cochlear implants, working with very young children who are not yet talking and working with children who have childhood apraxia of speech.

 



 

Kristy Knutson, MSE, CCC-SLP
Speech/Language Pathologist

Kristy earned a Master of Science degree in Education in Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin River Falls.  She maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and a license from the Minnesota Department of Health.  Kristy has worked as a speech and language pathologist for the past 5 years.  She has worked for the RiteCare Language Clinic of Elk River since January of 2005.  Her areas of special interest include language development and how it relates to literacy, phonemic awareness, phonological development and vocabulary acquisition through pre-literacy activities.

 


 

Greta Zenk Rockwood, MA, CCC-SLP
Speech/Language Pathologist

Greta has been working as a speech and language pathologist since 1990 and joined the RiteCare staff in October of 2007.  She enjoys working with children and their families and has done so in a variety of clinical and educational settings, primarily providing home-based services to infants and toddlers.  Her areas of expertise include early language development, phonology and the development of oral-motor/feeding skills in infants and toddlers.  Greta’s additional areas of interest include childhood language development in bilingual environments and speech fluency.  She earned her Masters degree at Washington State University and her Bachelors degree at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.  She maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competence through ASHA and is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Department of Education.

 


 

Andrea Olin
Speech/Language
Clinical Intern

Andrea is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Minnesota.  She will graduate this May.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Miami, Florida.  She is currently working as a Graduate Student Clinician at RiteCare for her clinical practicum experience.  Andrea’s areas of interest are language development,  phonological development and augmentative and alternative communication.

 


 

Laura Schroeder
Office Manager

Laura joined the RiteCare staff in February 2006 as our office manager.  In addition to college coursework and business education, Laura came to us with 20 years of business experience in the direct marketing, finance and customer service fields.  She is also an experienced genealogist.
